Dual monitors greyed out when both are connected

I am connecting two Dell monitors to my Dell XPS laptop. They have worked fine in the past, but recently they suddenly stopped. Now, when I plug in one or the other, the dual screen works fine. However, when I try to connect both and use all three monitors (my laptop screen + the two extras) both external monitors go black. In "Display Settings" my computer recognizes both of the monitors, since they both appear and disappear when plugged in or disconnected, but they are both greyed out when they are both connected.I have restarted and updated my computer.
