An online associate who I have interacted with occasionally for multiple years sent me a ZIP file on Discord for a complex and presumably legitimate purpose, wherein they had been developing a .NET application to help with editing text files for obscure video game modding. I was using Discord's web version, from a standard web browser at the time, and not from a standalone Discord app. As such, this ZIP file was downloaded via the standard web browser download procedure into the Downloads folder on Windows.
