How can I reset my Users folder without losing the files that were originally in the User folder

I moved the user folder to my D: drive then tried to move it back to fix it but I accidentally moved it into the actual folder so now when I open the user folder I have to open another folder inside of it and that's where my files are. I don't know what to do next and just need to put it back to normal
