As I understand from everything I have read online about wireless USB Dongles, the keyboard and mouse are set specifically to the frequency on each of the USB dongles and will not work with another dongle. It's hardcoded specifically to the mouse and keyboard you receive in the set. I have an old wireless Dongle, mouse and keyboard that I have been using on my personal laptop. I got a new separate wireless Dongle, mouse and keyboard that I use for my company provided work laptop, Windows 10.
