When windows update runs, my PC slows to almost a stop. When the update is finished, my PC goes back to normal.This has been happening for some years. Happens every time an update runs. Security updates not to bad. I assume because they are small. All other updates cause me one or two hours wasted with so poor response, the PC is unusable. The poor response starts as soon as I select CHECK FOR UPDATES. No error messages. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything useful.
