WINDOWS MILLENIUM EDITION SEPARATOR PAGE

Daniel

My printer always print the following in the 1st page whenever I print a new
document :

Windows Millenium Edition Separator Page
Document : Microsoft Word - Document 1
Printed By : HP Authorized Customer
Printed At : Sunday, Feb 24, 2008 etc , etc

Could any body advise what should be done to rectify this problem with my
computer ?

Printing a separator page is a function of the printer driver rather than
the operating system. Look at your printer driver for the setting.

For example, for my HP LJ4550. Start | Settings | Printer, highlight
printer and then right click and select Properties. On the Advanced tab
there is a button marked "Separator Page" where a separator page can be
selected. Look for something similar for your printer.

Mine is an HP LJ1100 and I have three settings: 'none', 'full' and 'simple'.
It is set for 'none'. What would the other two settings provide?
My asking is to prevent possible calamities by trying it out. <H>.
