Excel stockhistory function malfunction

I am encountering an issue with the stock history function in Microsoft Office 365. Despite having a valid subscription and an updated Office installation, when I select a stock (which is correctly connected and displaying abundant data), the formula returns a red error sign #VALUE!. This situation is quite frustrating, and I have already reached out to Microsoft's support line, which directed me here for assistance.
