taskbar missing and black screen

So in short words I have a friends that was working on a normal laptop with win10 and that is when suddenly the taskbar disappeared and she could only see the windows that where open after that everything was blackPS. this was while opening the Windows Explorer if I'm not wrongwe did a shutdown and ended the explorer.exe process and it worked but I want to know how to fix it for good since it already happened twice
