I have an update that I am trying to install. The update has been failing to install since it was first offered to me over a month ago. At that time, I tried just about every troubleshooting method I could find (clearing and resetting Windows Updates and its files with command line; trying to download the update as a file and install it, etc), but nothing worked. I decided to leave it alone, hoping at some point it will work itself out and finally install correctly—which is sadly a piece of troubleshooting advice I've seen in multiple places.
