Why does my computer running Windows 10 of late wake up and run for hours after I put it into Sleep mode? When I select Sleep and the computer goes into Sleep mode, I expect it to stay there! I do not want my computer running for hours when I do not need it running, in particular because of the hard drives. Also, it boots again which adds a little more wear and teat to the HD's over time. It's like Microsoft does not allow the owner of a computer running Windows to have full control of their computer.I have had this problem before on one or more Windows computers.
