Windows 10/11 audio cuts off low end frequency (Hz) when loading a video or audio call software. Why?

Afternoon beloved nerds, I brought up a case with our phone software client that eventually lead to this question. From starting a softphone web client (Five9) it would notably cut off the body/low end frequency of the audio or change the tone if you will. I though it was a gimmick of the web extension itself, but the same tone cut can be replicated when starting a Zoom meeting, a Teams call and when opening to the System Audio settings on my laptop. And the audio changes back to normal (full sounding) when closing out of the meeting/call/audio settings/signing out of the five9 page. Why is
