About 10 years ago Microsoft informed me that if I am reselling used PC's or Laptops, I would need to purchase a "Windows refurbished" license if I was to sell them with an OS installed. I know that the newer laptops have the license embedded in the hardware, but I am concerned that MS will come after me again if I don't have the refurbished license. Is this still the case? I do this as my livelihood and don't want to be sued and want to make sure I am compliant with what rules need to be followed to have a fresh copy of Win 10 or 11 on a used laptop for resale.
