I'm running [Version 10.0.19045.4412] of Windows and am in the habit of restarting my laptop every night at bedtime. There's no reason for it, it's just something I do. Occasionally, about 3 or 4 times a month I find in the morning that the spacing on my desktop icons has changed. Since this has been happening for some time now I have become familiar with the registry locations controlling this spacing and I find that the values have changed from the default -1128 in both locations atComputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetricsto something else, usually, -1130.
