No Audio

No audio despite the following: drivers & speakers updated & working properly, uninstall/update via Device Manager, Start/Restart of Windows Audio, RPC, DCOC, Audio Empower Rebuild via 'Services', sfc scan, chkdsk & finally Windows Media Installation. I have tried everything available thus far online. No luck. Just wondering if Windows Update has caused this and if so, which one?
