I can't wipe my computer.

Every time I attempt to wipe my computer I'm hit with an error and it resets the whole process. I looked into it on google briefly although not for long as I'm currently extreme frustrated. The main thing that was coming up was do tinker around in the system file checker but when I attempt to open sfc nothing happens. I also cannot update and am receiving this error; 0x800700c1.
