For several weeks, I have been encountering a problem in the migration process of our virtual machines (VMs) from an Azure host to VMware cloud director. During the migration, all Hyper-V VMs that use SCSI disks fail to start. After consulting various forums, I suspect that the cause may be the absence of a Hyper-V SCSI controller on the host machine’s drivers. My question is: does the Hyper-V SCSI controller driver interact directly with the host and the guest VMs on Hyper-V, or is there communication with the host on Azure?
