Blue screen, cannot repair as I don't know the administrator password

hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 7559 that I received through my parents work. The previous owner lended it to us to help with her business, so we always used her account on the laptop (the owners account) She no longer needs the computer as she got a new one. In the couple years we had the laptop we had never known the password for the account as it didn’t require one to log in. Currently, the pc Is locked on a blue screen and it needs to be updated to fix the blue screen but it requires a password to do so. The password is the one that we don’t know, and not even the original owner remembers. I
