Microsoft applications on Windows keep showing my previous name after changing it

I changed my Microsoft account's name and surname, the changes seemed to have taken effect when I log in to my Microsoft account from the browser, however Windows applications such as Microsoft Store, Word, Excel all seem to show my previous name.Logging out and logging back in on each of these applications doesn't remedy it. I've also cleared cookies from Edge but it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. What can I do to fix this problem?
