Suffered a hacking attempt - where my screen was locked and a number popped up saying it was from Microsoft and that I had a virus. My mouse was locked up. Also, the screen gave a number to call. I called the number , but only told them my model number on my computer. Got a number from them and a contact code number for the individual (woman) - that part seemed almost legit (then I hung up). Now what? BTW . If you call the number that popped onto my screen you can still get a real person. 833 289-0081. Thought that was odd. I haven’t tried the other number that the original contac
