My Password works on one laptop, but not the other

Hey Microsoft community,My Laptop (let's call him "laptop 1") was in repair recently; in the meantime I have been using a replacement laptop ("laptop 2"). I logged in to my Micrisoft account on laptop 2. I have a Microsoft 365 Family plan, so I should be able to use 5 devices. When laptop 1 was returned to me after repair, I first got a message that the BIOS had "self-healed" and was restored from a back up. After that, the startup went as normal, until I received the message that "Your PIN is no longer available due to a change in the security settings on this device". Trying to sing in with
