Xbox Series X Controller acts as mouse and keyboard

When my Xbox controller is connected to my PC, it acts like a mouse and keyboard. Every button performs an action typically performed on a keyboard, and the right stick controls the cursor. This is incredibly annoying when playing games, as I am unable to do anything. I am at a complete loss as to how to fix this. Quite literally, 14 hours ago, this was not an issue.
