Unable to mount a file

Hi Everyone,I have a file that contain the structure of a file system and some data in it. I am trying to mount that file but unable to do so. Breif explanation I have copied the whole structure of a volume using hex editor and saved it as a file type , then i was thinking about mounting it so can anyone tell me is it even possible or not. to Mount a file .I have tried Mount_VHD but haven't got any result.Thanks
