How to select an entry from clipboard history?

When I press the Windows key+V to see my clpboard history in Windows 10, the history with multiple entries displays but when I select one of the entries the entire box just disappears. I have done this in the past and did not have this problem. I have restarted my computer but that did not help. Any solutions?
