I am trying to upload photos from my Nikon camera onto my Surface Pro, as I have done many times before, but the system is no longer recognizing the USB device. I am able to plug my phone into the same USB port and it will charge, but my phone is also not recognized as a device.When the issue began, I had been able to access the USB device from my tablet just several minutes prior until I unplugged it and then plugged it back in shortly thereafter.Here are the steps I have taken to resolve the issue thus far:1.
