pc boots to blank screen with cursor out of nowhere

whenever i open my laptop's lit after using a app that uses fullscreen, the computer will boot to a blank screen with a cursor. i can move the cursor as such but i cannot click on anything, all it gives me is a error sound. however, tapping on a key will let me log in, and i can do things normally then. this only happens after using a fullscreen app, however, so its pretty weird.please refer to the file i have attached.
