reset laptop now cant use word/ powerpoint despite using the same email log in

reset my laptop as it was in a boot loop using keep my files and local reinstall, now the email associated with this laptop is unchanged and despite my word files being on my laptop i cant edit them without being asked for a product key. The reset reinstalled windows 10 but why cant i use word even though i have singed in with the same email, i bought it from a retailer to only use once on this pc so why is it asking me for a product key any help?
