After an update to Window10 Pro all office apps(word, excel) fail to open. Steps need to correct this issue.

After an update to Window10 Pro all Microsoft windows office apps(word, excel) fail to open. Getting a error code 1706. When I Click to open, window installer comes up looking for Microsoft office single image 2010 file. Then I get a box with this file: C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90140000-003D-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C\
