What is this overlay on my screen?

Win11 laptop with Iris Xe, with second monitor connected as duplicate display. Every time I open the laptop lid, this overlay comes on the built-in display. Seems to be asking me to choose extended or duplicate.Is it a Windows 11 feature?Is it an Intel Iris Xe feature?How do I completely disable this overlay from popping up?
