My Asus ux430ua laptop had trouble booting for a couple years now but I have always been able to get it going after mashing power a few times. Just yesterday though, I was unable to boot and I would get a blue screen with error code 0xc0000185. I ended up trying a bunch of things like repair start and repair bcd using windows install media on a flash drive but nothing works. I also ran chkdsk which didn't return any errors and I don’t have and flashback states or backups. After doing these things the error is now 0xc0000001.
