I recently upgraded the hardware on an active install of windows 10 pro and the system is now giving me error code: 0xC004F211 (windows reported that the hardware of your device has changed). This install has already been active for a couple of years with no issues. The real problems start when you realize that this install has been upgraded from 7 to 10 during the free upgrade period.
