Im getting the "Youll need internet for this" error.

I'm trying to log in to my Microsoft account within the Microsoft store so that I can download Microsoft. I get to the sign-in page and select my account, it sends me a code, then I put in the code and it says I'll need internet for this. I've looked at other forum responses but nothing is working for me.Thanks.
