i want to run a vm but i don't know if it will run or not?

i have an i5-8350U with 8gb of ram and intel uhd 620 and windows 10 as a host i want to create a vm that will run also on windows 10 will it work smoothly ? i 'm just trying to test some infected programms ,thanks.
