Am I doing something wrong? Windows update says there are updates ready to install, then it proceeds to download them for an hour and a half!

Hi,My Windows Updates are configured to download automatically and let me choose when to install. When I check the Windows Update dialogue it says there are updates ready to install. When I click on the install button, it then proceeds to download them. This month the download and install took over 1.5 hours.Am I doing something wrong. It seems the system is NOT downloading the patches ready to install until Iclick the Install button. Is that the case or is it being liberal with the truth when it says "Downloading updates 78%" after I click the Install button?Thanks for any insight into thisCo
