keyboard freezes but mouse pad still operates - windows 11

Keyboard freezes randomly (while using excel, word, online games). As the mouse still works, I am able to restart the laptop. After restarting, the keyboard is ok. In the last 4 moths this has happened on 15 occasions. I use the laptop every day. The following error message appears in the system log every time the keyboard has frozen.
