Windows 10: On-Screen Keyboard disappears when fixing forgotten PIN

I don't have a keyboard on me so I have to use the on-screen keyboard. Windows 10. When I'm on the sign-in screen I can pull up the keyboard fine but when I press forgot PIN and it pulls up the window to reset it, the keyboard disappears and can't be brought back up.
