I have just purchased Home & Student 2021 from Microsoft who provided me with the product key. I was able to download the software but on opening Word, I was shown a header advising me to move to Microsoft 365. In addition, I am unable to even start writing using the word app and all edit tabs are grayed out. The system I am using is an Imac 2023 with M3 chip and Sonoma 14.5. I have seen somewhere that this may mean that this Microsoft software cannot be used with the MACThis is disgraceful and to my mind amounts to corporate theft on Microsofts part.
