Trying to install a program, get error message 'Another Installer is already running'.

Windows 11 64-bit system. Trying to install a program, get error message 'Another Installer is already running'. Application's helpdesk that I'm installing indicated a Microsoft installer is running in the background. We've closed all that's in task manager but still receive an error message. Any additional ideas?
