I cannot change the time and date in the settings.

I am 2 days behind now what do I do? I tried synchronizing and changing time zones . Nothing works. I am not a newbie to the settings and have looked up different ways to fix including restore options. I cannot even troubleshoot and get error messages when I try. Is my computer pooched?
