Sudden popup of Activate Windows watermark and Activation on settings doesnt work

Hi there...i am using windows 10 pro... it was working fine until last night the Activate windows watermark pop out suddenly without any prior notices like it did before many many months ago.. as a result cant personalization wallpaper or screensaver and etc... I tried going into the Activation inside the settings app... but the Activation tab is not even working. it just freezes the whole settings app.
