How do I reset my PIN if I can’t sign in to my laptop?

Trying to sign in to startup my laptop and it’s saying “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available. Click to set up your PIN again.” When I click Setup My Pin a screen pops up that asks “Search for app in the Store?” And then yes or no options. I’ve tried clicking both yes and no and nothing happens, it just returns me to the main screen with the original message. I can’t get into my laptop to adjust any settings.
