windows 11 wont import photos using windows photo app?

My wife recently bought a new computer with windows 11 now windows photo app wont open photos is not importing photos or working anymore?I have a windows 11 with same windows photo app and the photo app was working fine, now since we got her computer my windows photo app doing same thing nothing quit working?
