Can NPS support device auth for cloud joined devices?

Hello, I've looked around and I've gotten very vague data regarding this, can NPS support device authentication (vs user) for cloud joined devices (Entra ID joined vs legacy AD joined devices)? Basically the EAP-TLS client cert will have the deviceID into the certificate subject name and the Radius must be able to query Entra ID to map the cert to the matching computer object.
