Updated windows today and all my drivers as my laptop was running a bit hot when charging and sometimes those fix the issue outside of cleaning and wear and tear. Fortunately it did, but it has given me one of my worst issues I have come across as I have tried nearly every fix around. My icons are all corrupted/missing on my desktop taskbar, and file explorer. If I open settings and view my default apps etc they are all there though. This is extremely frustrating and if it doesn't get fixed I will just go back to Linux.
