I asked a question the other day about the possibility of accessing my edge passwords through my files (appdata>local>microsoft>edge>user data) as my PC is BSOD currently and I’m worried about losing my edge passwords as I didn’t actually have an account attached to my edge profile - a silly move in hindsight, I know. I was informed on that question that I ‘cannot access the password by hand even you have access to the local file as that will essentially make hacking your system a piece of cake.
