After shutting down my computer, the system said it would do an update and then shut down. The following day, I noticed the computer had not shut down and had a different log in screen. When I logged in, it was in the Safe Mode. I tried many options to get out of the Safe Mode and none worked. I finally did a factory re-store which got the computer back the regular operation. However, I now have no sound. The computer shows no sound devices are detected, despite the fact there are built-in speakers as well as an external speaker plugged into the sound port.
