Black screen before Login

Hi,a few days ago, my pc showed the message that something is wrong with my boot drive. I let the system check and since then my pc starts but before I can login it has a black screen. I can move my cursor. I tried a few things like leaving it on for a few hours in the hope it fixes it self. What should I do now?
