I am using software from Uniden to add frequencies to my Uniden Scanner. My problem is the first time I programmed frequencies it was fine. Now it is saying that port COM 5 does not exist and will not connect to my scanner. I went into the control panel to find the issue, and it says that, "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)." Now the hardware device (assuming it is talking about the scanner) is plugged in. However I lost the original charger that it came with when I first plugged into my computer. I am using a new wire that I bought. I do not believe
