Changing the audio output doesn't do anything only on one application, the rest works properly

So I have this .exe file that keeps outputing the audio from the default one, and when I change it to different outputs (that shouldn't make any sound) it keeps sounding, so it means that it's not really changing the output. It's weird cause it's the only app that does this, all the others work fine. I restarted the PC but nothing changes. I have an audio interface if it makes a difference. Basically even when I'm changing output, with this specific .exe file the audio still comes out from the default one no matter what I do. Any help?
