I want to get my computer to run faster

Whenever I type on my computer it is always super slow and wont load a few words for a few minutes. This causes games that I play to register walking when I am done touching the forward key, how should I fix this. I have done a lot of research on this topic and it says to update drivers. My graphics card is an intel 630 and says there are no available updates.
