Unable to delete SD card files

I am unable to delete files from my SD cards or make edits to file names. I work with hundreds of SD cards for work and have never had this issue before - it is an issue for every single SD card now. All cards are unlocked and I tested this on my personal Apple computer and had no issues. This means it is an issue with my computer settings rather than individual SD card settings. Is there a way to resolve this?
